The Aboriginal Education program at L. V. Rogers in Nelson currently serves approximately 122 students in our school.
The program is run by Toni Appleby. She can be found in our new Ab Ed room (room 202) every day during the school week except on Wednesday, when she is working with the REACH program in Central School. She runs a variety of programs throughout the year for students in the program and also visits classrooms to assist teachers in Indigenizing their curriculum.
The co-ordinator of the program is Sherry Lynn McGregor. She assists Toni in any way she can to keep the program running smoothly.
